Two GMA Dramas Land on Netflix Philippines This October
GMA Network is adding two of its dramas to Netflix Philippines. Never Say Die starts streaming on October 5. House of Lies follows on October 19.
Both series are produced by GMA Entertainment Group. Both were made for television first. Now they get a second run on a platform where viewers set their own schedule.
The one about telling the truth
Never Say Die is an action-drama. It follows Joey Delgado (Jillian Ward), an IT student who runs a vlog, whose life becomes tied to Andrew Dizon (David Licauco), a cynical investigative journalist. Their story runs through corruption and drug involvement among trusted government officials. Their pursuit of the truth also exposes wrongdoing in their own families.
The series marks the first team-up of Ward and Licauco. It premiered on GMA Prime on February 2, 2026, and ended on May 22 with its 78th episode. The pilot earned a 7.1% rating and the finale earned 8%.
The supporting cast includes Richard Yap, Kim Ji Soo, Angelu de Leon and Raymart Santiago. Winwyn Marquez, Analyn Barro and Raheel Bhyria also appear, along with Wendell Ramos, Ayen Munji-Laurel and Gina Alajar.
The one about what people build on a lie
House of Lies stars Beauty Gonzalez as Marjorie and Kris Bernal as Althea. Both women chase the lives they want and try to protect their families. Ambition, deceit and betrayal build into what the title promises. The series premiered on GMA Afternoon Prime on January 19, 2026, and ended on May 22.
Mike Tan and Martin del Rosario join the cast. So do Jackie Lou Blanco, Lito Pimentel and Snooky Serna. Kayla Davies, Angel Cadao, Geo Mhanna and Kokoy de Santos are also in the series, with Tanya Gomez, Patricia Tumulak and Gee Canlas completing the lineup.
Why the streaming move matters
Local films and series have found new audiences on Netflix. Some have climbed the platform’s rankings after their original releases. Streaming now lets a Filipino production reach viewers outside its TV slot or theatrical run.
GMA says these two are among the Kapuso titles coming to Netflix Philippines. More are set to follow soon, with additional titles scheduled over the coming months.
