PREP Returns to Manila for the Sixth Time

One of Prep’s well-known songs.

London indie-pop band PREP plays the Filinvest Tent in Alabang on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Karpos Live presents the Manila date, one stop on the band’s 2026 Asia tour. The tour also goes through Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

The show is one section, standing room only. General admission is PHP 4,450 through Tickelo.

Five Shows So Far

PREP first played Manila in 2017. A headlining show at 19 East followed in 2018, then Wanderland Festival in 2019. A planned 2020 Asia tour was canceled because of COVID-19, and the band came back in 2022 for a sold-out show at Samsung Hall in SM Aura, Taguig.

Karpos Multimedia counted the May 2024 show at the Filinvest Tent as the band’s fifth in Manila and its second under Karpos, after Wanderland. Ahead of that show, PREP told Rappler that its last Karpos-organized Manila gig had a crowd singing whole songs, not only the choruses.

The Band and the New EP

PREP formed in London in 2015. Tom Havelock sings, Llywelyn ap Myrddin plays keys, Guillaume Jambel plays drums and Daniel Radclyffe produces. Billboard Philippines describes the sound as jazz harmonies, R&B rhythms and synths.

“The Cheapest Flight,” from the 2016 debut EP Futures, has passed 41 million streams, according to Billboard Philippines. The latest release is the EP One Day In The Sun, out March 20, 2026. Its lead single, “Do What You Gotta,” features Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster. Manila Bulletin expects a set that puts older favorites next to newer material.

Where Manila Ranks

The band’s press materials put the Philippines third among its top listening countries, behind Indonesia and Thailand, with Quezon City among its top listener cities.
