Planetshakers Wrapped Its Manila Run Sunday Night
Planetshakers closed a three night run at SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, the last stop of a Manila leg that started Friday, July 17. The event was billed as the Abundance Tour Manila, feat. planetboom, running July 17 through 19, 2026.
A Worship Night, Not a Conference
Organizers were specific about what this was and wasn’t. Per the event’s own FAQ, the run was billed as a worship night, not a Planetshakers Conference, and it was open to anyone who registered. Tickets had been available since March 26, 2026, sold through SM Tickets online and at outlets nationwide.
The Nightly Routine
Each night followed the same shape. Foyer opened at 5pm. Arena doors opened at 6pm. The worship night itself started at 8pm, subject to change. For anyone holding an SVIP standing floor ticket, position on the floor ran first come, first served, so arrival time mattered as much as ticket tier.
A few house rules applied on top of that. It was a strict no bag policy, with personal items limited to whatever fit a 30x30cm pouch. Re-entry wasn’t allowed once inside. Filming the full worship night was off limits, though non-flash photos and short clips were welcome, shared under the tour’s own hashtag, #psmanila26.
From a Youth Meeting in Adelaide to a Global Ministry
Planetshakers started in 1997 as a youth conference at Paradise Community Church in Adelaide, South Australia, drawing 300 young people to its first gathering. Sam and Russell Evans later moved the band and ministry to Melbourne, founding Planetshakers Church there on February 8, 2004. The church has since grown into a Pentecostal megachurch with more than 21,000 members, plus campuses beyond Australia in Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa, and the United States.
One Stop on a Longer Route
Manila wasn’t a standalone stop. The band played Ciudad de Guatemala in late June and Bogor, West Java in early July before arriving in the Philippines, and the tour continues on to a conference date in Kuala Lumpur later this month. Sunday was simply where the Manila chapter of that route ended.
