New Customs Lanes Give OFWs a Faster Way Through NAIA and Clark
The wait at customs used to be the same line for everyone. Not anymore.
What Changed
The Bureau of Customs has opened dedicated X-ray lanes at NAIA Terminals 1 and 3 and Clark International Airport, set aside for overseas Filipino workers going through customs inspection and baggage examination.
Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said the lanes are meant to move OFWs through faster and cut down wait time, while staying within existing customs laws and procedures.
Coming to More Airports
The bureau plans to bring the same setup to other international airports and terminals nationwide.
If you’re flying through NAIA or Clark soon, look for the new lane instead of falling in with the regular line.
