Bitoy Is Hosting Family Feud While Dingdong Steps Away
Since September 17, Michael V., known to most Filipino viewers as Bitoy, has been hosting GMA Network’s Family Feud Philippines on weekdays at 5:35 p.m. He is filling in for regular host Dingdong Dantes, who is currently busy taping his new primetime drama, The Master Cutter. He Said He Missed Hosting More Than He Realized
In an interview, Michael V. said he had spent a long time wondering whether he actually missed hosting a game show. He said he realized he did once he was back behind the podium. He added that what he enjoys most is the interaction with contestants and the way their answers reveal something about who they are.
More Than A Decade Away From The Podium
It had been over ten years since Michael V. last hosted a show on a regular basis. He expected the return to feel difficult. Instead, the routine came back quickly once he was on set. He also pointed out one thing that had changed since his last hosting job: he no longer needs to hold a microphone.

Dantes, who is stepping away temporarily for his new series, spoke warmly about handing the podium to Michael V., describing him as someone he genuinely admires.

The Family Feud stint adds to an already full schedule for Michael V. He continues to appear in Pepito Manaloto on Saturdays and Bubble Gang on Sundays, both long running Kapuso staples.
