Michael Sager Joins PBB Collab 3.0 as a Host
Michael Sager is going back to Kuya’s house as a host. The “Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0” lineup was announced on Monday, October 5, 2026, when the show posted a host teaser on social media.
He joins returning hosts Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Gabbi Garcia, Melai Cantiveros, Enchong Dee and Alexa Ilacad. He is introduced as the “Kapuso Wonder Host ni Kuya.”
He knows the house from the inside
Sager entered “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” in 2025 as “Ang Diligent Wonder Son ng Marinduque.” He was evicted on April 26 of that year, together with his duo partner, Emilio Daez. He posted afterward that he had walked in with hope and walked out grateful, and he closed the message with “And so it begins.”
He is the first former housemate from the recent Celebrity Collab editions to take a hosting role. Sager shared the news on social media himself. He wrote that he was grateful for a new task from Kuya, “this time as his host.”
What he brings to the job
Sager said he is happy to share his experience. Every housemate has a different journey, he said, and getting into the house is a once in a lifetime opportunity. He also said he is excited to see “PBB” from a different perspective.
His advice to the incoming housemates is to take it one day at a time and be grateful. That echoes his farewell on the show in 2025. Asked by host Bianca Gonzalez about his biggest takeaway, he said, in tears, that it was to spread love and stay positive.
A new house and a new cast
The first two Collab seasons had celebrity housemates. Collab 3.0 opens the house to ordinary Filipinos. Auditions were held for Filipinos worldwide aged 18 to 35, and the audition period ran until August 31. The season comes with a new house, because the original one, used for 21 years, has closed. It is set to air this October.
Other projects
Sager also said he is grateful for his role in the upcoming series “The Way Back to You,” with AZ Martinez and Ralph De Leon, and for playing Nate in “Born to Shine.”
