Kim Kardashian Spends Her Early Birthday Scuba Diving in the Philippines
Kim Kardashian took an early birthday trip to the Philippines. She turns 46 on Oct. 21 and posted the trip to Instagram this week with the caption “Philippines Birthday Adventures.” She has more than 300 million followers there.
Most of the photos are in or on the water
Kardashian goes scuba diving and rides a boat in a red two-piece. In another shot she’s on the sand. One video shows turtles swimming in clear water, and there’s a pink sunset over the coastline.
Dinner on the beach, with fireworks
She ate an open-air dinner by the water while fireworks went off overhead. In another photo she leans in to blow out the one candle on a small birthday cake.
Which island? She hasn’t said
Kardashian didn’t name the island or the resort. Some reports call it a private island, and some local coverage guessed Palawan, but none of it is confirmed.
Filipino celebrities showed up in the comments
Anne Curtis wrote “Welcome.” KC Concepcion wrote “Have fun.” Isabelle Daza also sent a greeting, and designer Raf Villas joked that she should come by his house. Her mother, Kris Jenner, praised the trip, and her sister Kourtney commented on the scuba photos.
After the trip
In an interview with her “All’s Fair” co-stars, Kardashian said she had just gotten back from the Philippines, where she celebrated her birthday. She called the sunset colorful and added, with a laugh, that she saw Nemo.
