Jacob Batalon didn’t post a ring photo or announce anything. Multiple outlets now confirm that Jacob Batalon and his fiancée, Veronica Leahov, quietly tied the knot.
A Nickname Gave It Away
Batalon let it slip during a July 28 interview alongside his Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya. While the actors spoke about their nicknames, Batalon said, “My wife calls me big dog. She doesn’t. I wish she did,” and he was noted wearing a ring on his ring finger during the sitdown. Leahov reinforced it separately, appearing to confirm the marriage after changing her name to “Veronica Leahov Batalon” on her professional website.
Five Years in the Making
The two have been together since 2019. Batalon announced the engagement on Instagram on March 5, 2025, sharing photos of a nighttime proposal in New York City, with candles on the floor and a heart shaped arrangement of red roses alongside the words “Will you marry me?” Leahov said yes. (Outlets differ on her job title, Inquirer and E! News describe her as an interior designer, while PEOPLE and HollywoodLife describe her as an architectural designer.)
Wedding planning stayed almost entirely in her hands. Speaking to PEOPLE in January, Batalon admitted he had not planned anything at all and had left the details to her, telling her to just tell him when and where. By March, he said the word “fiancée” itself made him feel “very fancy,” and floated Aloha shirts over a tuxedo for his own wedding attire, with adobo as a non negotiable on the menu.
