BINI’s Mikha Co-Stars in Inigo Pascual’s New Music Video

BINI’s Mikha Lim stars in the music video for Inigo Pascual’s new single, “Pagdating ng Panahon.” His father, actor Piolo Pascual, partly directed the visual.

Mikha said yes without hesitation

Inigo approached Mikha to be part of the video. He said she agreed without asking a single question, despite BINI’s packed schedule. They filmed her scenes before the group left for tour. Inigo described her as one of the kindest, most genuine people he knows, someone who runs in the same circle of friends as he does.

A birthday single, a familiar theme

Inigo turned 29 on September 14. He called the release a kind of birthday gift to himself. “Pagdating ng Panahon” follows “Ikaw at Ikaw,” his single from this past May, and he described the new song as a continuation of that earlier release. The storyline follows two friends on the edge of falling in love, caught between that feeling and a long separation ahead.

Piolo directs, no crew, no script

The idea to direct the video came from Piolo, while father and son were on tour together in Australia. Inigo showed him the unreleased music video for “Ikaw at Ikaw,” and Piolo got inspired on the spot. He took on directing, location scouting, and production himself, shooting scenes in public spaces around Australia. Inigo said it was the first time his dad had stepped into that kind of role for him.

A more personal sound

Inigo said writing “Pagdating ng Panahon” felt more natural than his previous single. He was involved in the lyrics, the concept, and the direction of the music video itself. He described the sound as a return to the version of himself behind “Dahil Sa’yo,” after a period of experimenting across genres.
