BINI and SB19 Just Teased a Collaboration, and Fans Caught It Instantly
On August 8, 2026, BINI and SB19 simultaneously teased a possible collaboration on their Facebook accounts, and gave almost nothing else away.
The Posts That Set Off the Speculation
BINI shared a photo of both groups together in Rohnert Park, California, captioned: “Looks like we’ve got something on the frequency… Stay tuned!”
SB19 followed with its own photo and a shorter caption, asking their fans outright if a crossover was actually happening.
The photo was taken during BINI’s ongoing “Signals” world tour, which included a Los Angeles stop.
The Titles Behind the Teaser
BINI is known as the Philippines’ “Nation’s Girl Group.” SB19 carries the title “Kings of P-pop.” Both acts have built an international following well beyond the Philippines, and a joint project would put two of P-pop’s most recognized names in the same frame.
What’s Actually Coming
Bombo Radyo Malaybalay and Abante Tonite both report that the collaboration involves the two groups filming content together using their songs “Lawless” and “Step Back,” ahead of BINI and SB19’s joint performances at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival, scheduled for August 14 to 16.
The two outlets differ on where that filming happened. Bombo Radyo Malaybalay places it in Rohnert Park, California, the same city Manila Times names for BINI’s teaser photo. Abante Tonite instead reports the groups filmed together in Los Angeles.
Bombo Radyo also reports both camps hope the collaboration eases so-called “fan wars” between their supporters online. That lines up with what BINI’s Gwen told Abante Tonite: “We genuinely support each other.”
Neither group has confirmed what the finished content will actually be.
