BTS’ Jin Crosses the Billion-Stream Mark Solo

Jin of BTS just joined Spotify’s Billions Club. His solo single “Don’t Say You Love Me” passed 1 billion streams on the platform as of August 18, 2026, according to The Korea Herald. It’s the first time one of his solo songs has hit that number.

A Song About Not Letting Go

“Don’t Say You Love Me” is the title track off Jin’s second solo EP, Echo, released in May 2025 through Big Hit Music. allkpop describes it as a song about two people who can’t quite let go of a relationship as it nears its end.

The single debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 90, his third solo entry on the chart after “The Astronaut” and “Running Wild.” Echo landed on the Billboard 200 at No. 3. On Spotify, the song topped the Daily Songs Chart Global, pulling in about 5.7 million streams in a single day.
