BINI Heads to Japan for Summer Sonic 2026
BINI performs at Summer Sonic 2026 this week, taking the Mountain Stage in both host cities of Japan’s long-running festival.
Two Cities, One Stage
The Nation’s Girl Group plays Osaka on August 14 from 2:40 PM to 3:20 PM JST, then returns for a Tokyo set on August 16 from 3:30 PM to 4:10 PM JST, according to the festival’s official schedule. Both performances land on the Mountain Stage, the festival’s second largest venue.
BINI was added to the lineup during Summer Sonic’s eighth wave of artist announcements, alongside acts like December 10 and Real McCoy, for the festival’s 25th anniversary edition. The Osaka leg runs at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park, and the Tokyo leg spans ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe.
Filipino Acts Share the Bill
SB19 and Ena Mori also perform at Summer Sonic this weekend. SB19 takes a Tokyo stage on August 15, and Filipino Japanese artist Ena Mori plays the Spotify Stage in Tokyo on August 14.
A Stop Between Tour Dates
The Summer Sonic dates fall in the middle of BINI’s Signals world tour through North America.
From Coachella to Chiba
Summer Sonic is BINI’s latest festival credit in 2026. The group became the first all Filipino girl group to perform at Coachella, and later received the Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
