Kris Aquino is on the cover of Tatler Philippines for October 2026. The magazine revealed it on Monday, October 5, with her in a red gown.
A relaxed set, a red gown
Tatler kept the shoot loose on purpose. Its editors wrote that the cover shows wisdom she earned through experience, and that her intelligence and wit are still very much there. They also described her as someone who has long shared her life and her convictions openly.
The magazine says she comes back after a quiet stretch to open new chapters in her story.
Back in small steps
Aquino spent a long time in the hospital early this year. Once she was home, she said she would save the deeper conversation about her health for a podcast. She also said that even with rehab and physical limits, she felt her old self returning bit by bit. She is still recovering from several autoimmune diseases.
In July, her longtime makeup artist, RB Chanco, posted behind-the-scenes images from a pictorial, and fans read it as a comeback tease. On August 7, Netflix Philippines released a campaign that cast her as its fictional “Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis.” In the video, she critiques scenes from local shows.
Busy again, and glad about it
In a late September interview, Aquino said that when she is active, she is happy, and that her blood pressure and skin seem better for it. “It really has a lot to do with your attitude,” she said. She is looking toward a more active 2027, and she says her health comes first, so she is keeping a limited workload.
She has also said she may do short video dramas for an e-commerce platform where she is a brand ambassador. Asked who she would want as a leading man, she named Ian Veneracion.
